The directors of these movies always try and keep these video game movies grounded in reality as much as possible, and they always change the scripts.

Ironically the producers and directors of these movies always assume that if they make the movie just like the video game, then the movie will be much to bazaar for the audience.

It’s funny that these film makers think they are taking a chance by making the movie like the video game, but in reality, that’s exactly what we the video game fans want A GODDAMN VIDEO GAME MOVIE THAT IS EXACTLY LIKE THE VIDEO GAME!

I kinda liked Doom. But I was high as fuck when I saw it and that puttied up all the plot holes for me.

Dude I need some of that shit you were on, it sounds amazing!

I had some left over morphine suppositories from my stepmom’s hospice care and a bag of mushrooms. It could have been an Oprah marathon for all I cared.

  • Silent Hill was good.

There you have it kids, video game movies kickass! Keep it at TGO

I loved the first Resident Evil movie.

It was miles different from the game in all but it’s root DNA.

    • Bulgingsnake

      I heard that

  • Mr. Perfect

They should make a movie based on Final Fantasy VI.
Then have Aeris die at the end just to mess with people.

House of the dead had to be one of the worst horror films I’ve ever seen, painful to watch. Doom was another one that got seriously destroyed, that one was embarrassing to watch. Pretty much all of them are shit but I must say, the first resident evil film was pretty decent but maybe I only feel that way because resident evil make me jiz.

    • Bulgingsnake

      Big time

  • One Mat Gang

Super Mario Brothers was an epic movie

Hardcore Henry is the most video gamey movie I’ve seen so far. It reminded me of a first person hotline miami.

Edge of tomorrow was also inspired by video games with its respawn plot line.

    Totally agree.
However, that poses problems with older games: Do we REALLY want a game like Super Mario? 90 minutes of jumping and eating mushrooms?

    More story-driven games are easier.
