What the $#!+ is VUDU

Has anyone used VUDU for movies/tv? How does it work? Worth the hype?

I haven’t paid for the service. I can usually get movies for like $10, sometimes they are on sale. I went through all of my movies and added the digital copies, so now I have like 15 movies on Vudu.

The “free” TV shows are only the first episodes, then you have to pay for the rest, so for TV viewing Hulu and/or Netflix is probably your best bet.

Thanks for the info!!! Going to look into it. Is it expensive?

We have Hulu and Netflix. Wondering if this was another good addition to our anti TV, TV. Lol

I have used it, and I kinda like it. KINDA…

So my Xbox was very drunk about a month and a half ago, and it would not play any of my BluRays. I had a Walken Jones on, and really wanted to see 7 Psychopaths, but as my equipment was malfunctioning, I was supposedly out of luck. But then I pulled the paper out of the inside of the pocket out, and started going to websites. You have to create like 738 profiles (none of which require a credit card, but all need passwords), and you’ll be set.

Now, I can buy movies sitting at my computer (or Xbox), and can login anywhere to watch them. The only problem that I have with it is if you aren’t in a spot where you get good WIFI, you end up buffering during the movie, which is the very definition of weaksauce.

I have a buffet table full of DVDs that are going the way of the VHS tape, and not all will transfer over to the digital format. I am told there is a website you can go to to do this for like $2 per disc or something like that, but I’m not that concerned with it yet.

Moral of the story, try to be sober when working with your electronics.

I’ve heard of it but have no idea what it does.

No idea what that is! When I’ve seen the article the first thing that has come to mind is what Dave 79 is doing with the doll representing his coworker
