Quentin Tarantino’s 9th Film Will Be About the Manson Family Murders

Quentin Tarantino, famous for films like Pulp Fiction, D’jango Unchained and Kill Bill is reportedly working on his 9th film. The subject of this effort will be a “unique take” on the Manson family murders. Tarantino is hoping to start production sometime in 2018.

Tarantino has already started talking to some A-list talent who may join the project as well. The rumored names are Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Robbie is a possible choice for the role of Sharon Tate, the wife of director Roman Polanski who was brutally¬†murdered while pregnant in 1969. Charles Manson and his some of his followers were sentenced to life imprisonment for Tate’s murder as well as several other deaths. There is no word on who will be playing Manson, who has become a bit of a pop culture icon despite his reputation.

Tarantino’s most recent film was The Hateful Eight back in 2015. He still continues to claim that he won’t direct any more than 10 films. Meaning this will be his second last if he does follow through.

Are you looking forward to a 9th film from Quentin Tarantino?

Really love this guy’s style though his recent movies haven’t lived up to the brilliance of movies like pulp fiction.

Inglorious basterds, for instance, was awesome…. but for a large portion of the movie it just didn’t clickfor me. Certain scenes were brilliant and matched some of the quality Tarantino is known for in the past.

But other times it was just… meh.

    Overall damn good movie though.

Django unchained I thought was similar. The shoot outs were fucking epic and some of the scenes were awesome. DiCaprio did a good job as a villain.

But there has been elements in all of tarnatinos recent flicks that just…. by me and I have a hard time placing exactly what it is.

I’d still watch this movie though. It’s kind of unexplored as far as tarantinos work goes.

I hope Quentin puts in that Guns N’ Roses song that Charles Manson wrote for them on The Spaghetti Incident album.
