As we all know, MGS4 shows the death of Big Boss.
The end of MGS4 has Big Boss propped up against a tombstone with Solid Snake (his clone) standing before him.
Big Boss drops a cigar out of his mouth, Solid Snake picks it up for him. Then as Big Boss is passing to the next world he says “This is good… Isn’t it?”
Now I haven’t looked up what Hideo Kojima’s metaphor or meaning was behind these final words. But I get the sense that Big Boss was saying that in death he had finally found peace. Yet he has a question mark at the end, which means, he really loved some mother fucking war!
Metal Gear Solid is beyond epic.
