The environments are just plain boring. The enemies are boring to look at. The combat is bland.

Why in the world would you pay top dollar for this game when superior games like Bio Shock & Deus Ex Mankind Divided are out there? Playing this game is a step back in time.

Prey has last gen graphics. Prey has horrible loading times. Prey has lame enemy AI. Prey is easy on the hardest difficulty.

I’m glad I got this game used. This game was worth 60 bucks 10 years ago. But since I’ve been there, done that, it’s worth around 20 bucks now.

Everything in Prey does work, but it is uninspiring and boring, besides the story.

Slow loading times can kiss my fuckin ass in the county fuckin square!!!

It will be made. The development team has to help on other projects though, like Tomb Raider and some Marvel crap. So it will be a while.

I heard the next game is on ice though unfortunately. If they are jus developing in secret then I don’t mind the ending of the second game. But Im not sure they are gonna pick it back up.

The new Deus Ex games are a trilogy. It’s not over, it was suppose to end abruptly

Deus ex has the problem solving but I LOVED the setting of Prey…. which is close to bioshock but it’s more like System Shock 2.

Deus ex was indeed the better game though. Too bad about the ending in deus ex….. it was shaping up to be one of my favorite games of all time…. then it just…. ends out of nowhere.

Still a great game though. But I prefer human revolution just for being a more complete experience.

Prey is the closest thing I’ve gotten to System Shock 2 since System Shock 2…. and System Shock 2 gives me a huge boner.

Younger Wesley would have enjoyed Prey a lot more than older Wesley. But all this game made me want to do was throw in Bio Shock or Deus Ex.

    Yeah, Nier is epic.

I loved Prey except for the final third of the game. Didn’t care for the robotic enemies and the story indeed started to fall apart.

I played on pc though, graphics were probably sharper and the loading times were more than likely shorter.

But I particularly loved how I was left to my own devices to solve problems. That part of the game I loved from beginning to end.

I also had a huge difficulty spike though. I explored so much and collected so much crap and ammo that I…. ended up having nothing to collect for the final third of the game which seriously caused problems for me.

I really enjoyed Prey but I don’t think it’s a replay game for me. It hit some nails right on the head but it could really have used some more enemy variety.

I’ve played nier automata since then and my mind was fucking BLOWN.

    I would rate Prey a 7.5. Nier a freaking 9.

    Nier is brilliant.

  • Bulgingsnake

I wouldn’t pay over 20 bucks for it.

So your recommendation is if we are curious enough to get it, either get it used or when it costs less
