Formed in 2008, this Columbus Ohio trio take the tried and true sound of Southern Rock, and strip away all the excess. Take it back to it’s roots. Start with a swampy riff, add some good ol’ boy that has soul in his voice, with a bit of country twang.
You won’t find female backup singers, or a horn section, two drummers, or 3 guitarists playing 10 minute solos. All the BS is gone. Mount Carmel sound like ZZ Top before the fuzzy guitars and synthesizers.
