Its sad but true, Carrie Fisher was one of the most beautiful women in the world when she was a part of the original Star Wars trilogy, but in the last 10-15 years of her life Carrie lost a lot of her beauty. Her bigger roles were nearly gone by the late 80s, but she continued in the industry as a writer of both novels and screenplays. Her semi autobiographical book Postards from the Edge was eventually made into a film.  She was also known as a bit of a script doctor during the time. Doing some uncredited work on Lethal Weapon 3 and The Wedding Singer.

Its easy to blame Carrie’s decline on her drug addiction that plagued her for decades as well as a lot of mental health struggles. She even seemed to be willing to make fun of her aging as she always appeared to have a pretty good sense of humor. Sometimes in the days before her death I felt like I could see the Carrie Fisher of old. That shot in front of the door on Crait in The Last Jedi really recaptures her beauty. It also appeared that Fisher was able to create good looking children as her daughter Billie Lourd is pretty hot.

She’s still one of my favorite celebrities mostly because she is far funnier and badass than any famous person has any right to be.
