Morgan Freeman is one of the most beloved American actors of all time and probably one of the best supporting actors ever. Freeman could be the most beloved actor in the world right now except for Tom Hanks. CNN has reported that 8 women have come forward about Freeman’s behavior on set of the comedy Going in Style.

There are several mannerisms named in the article that describe Freeman’s actions. Freeman is said to have made some inappropriate comments about the women’s bodies. One woman claimed that he had tried multiple times to grab her skirt and look to see if she was wearing any underwear. 8 women have claimed they have been harassed by Freeman, but as many of 16 have claimed that he had done some inappropriate actions of some sort.

I don’t really know what to this of this. The news is circulating heavily right now if you want to generate your own opinion on it. These actions seem a bit more minor compared to some other actions by people in entertainment industry. Freeman is 80 years old too, and who hasn’t been a little creeped out, by the actions of an old man or woman? I know I have. I don’t think that means its okay, but it makes things a bit more complicated. This will throw a wrench into Freeman’s legacy that was fairly pristine up until this point.

I read a bit further and found this quote in the report.

¬†Several other times during this investigation, when a CNN reporter contacted a person who had worked with Freeman to try to ask them if they had seen or been subjected to inappropriate behavior by an actor they had worked with — not initially even naming the actor they were asking about — the person would immediately tell them they knew exactly who the reporter had in mind: Morgan Freeman

So it looks like he’s developed a bit of a reputation for going a bit too far. What do you think of these reports about Morgan Freeman?
