The days of mediocre are over. It’s time to push the limits. Physically, mentally, and emotionally.
I’m making it my goal to break a World Record. The Standing Vertical Jump. The record is 41.5 inches. Held by Ryan Maynard of South Africa. I’m taking that record. And training starts today.
In order to make this a reality I’m going to need to train hard. You must work up to a record. So I’m going to film myself breaking smaller records. As tests to build myself up to World Record Standing Vertical Jump Champion.
First up, longest time holding breath under water. That’s 3.25 minutes held by Terry Buntz of Germany. Since I don’t have a pool or pond, I’ll just hold water in my mouth. Same thing. There are no camera tricks involved here.
That was 5 minutes and 11 seconds. New World Record. Suck on that Terry Buntz. New Underwater Breath Holding World Champ…One Mat Gang. That will build my lung strength for the Vert Jump. Let’s see how close I can get. Just to set a benchmark
31 inches. Got a ways to go. But I’ll get there. Through hard work and determination. And you’ll join me on my journey…to Greatness
