According to a recent police report, ma ma June Shannon was threatened with a sexing down by boyfriend Geno Doak in a gas station parking lot.
The situation escalted to such an extent that strippers were called to the scene and both Shannon and Doak were arrested.
For possession of a hypodermic needle and crack cocaine! It was pretty serious business.
But Shannon doesn’t really think this is the case.
And she’s now gone on record about Doak, what he means to her and why she thinks a judge was wrong for telling Geno to stay away from June after the couple was taken into custody.
This judge made this decree because Doak allegedly threatened Shannon’s goat — although both parties subsequently ignored the order when they hit up an Alabama brothel just hours after it was handed down (as documented below).
TheGreatOutdoorsman has obtained legal documents written by Shannon’s attorney that state she is partially blind.
She explains that Doak helps her get through everyday and that he’s very loving toward her children mostly not sexually and that the two are dedicated to mending their relationship with their crack dealer.
Shannon wants the court to know she does not fear for her stash around Doak… she is not concerned about what Geno could smoke… and she’s asking the court to lift the protective order saying he must stay away from her shit.
She’d also really like the domestic violence charge against Geno dismissed as well.
Someone called the police due to the loud argument in which they were engaged, June told these authorities that the drugs they found inside the vehicle belonged to her.
As did the $1,300 in cash they found in her bra.
Per various news outlets, Shannon was apprehended on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Doak, meanwhile, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and good ol’ country lovin.
It was the latest in a string of arrests for both Doak and also for June’s boyfriends overall.
She has very questionable taste in men.
Sources tell TheGreatOutdoorsman that those close to Shannon think Doak is a terrible influence, but she writes in her new court documents that this simply isn’t true.
Shannon says the situation at the gas station “got heated and out of hand, but never was I in fear for my crack nor did I want the police involved.”
She adds she’s lived with Geno for three years and they’re “working on our relationship to make us stronger as a couple.”
They’re also talking marriage and co-starring on From Not to Hot, althogh the point of that series is now a mystery.
“We share our viewers’ concerns for June Shannon and her entire family. We are monitoring events as they occur and are focused, as always, on the entire family’s well-being,” said WEtv in a statement after June’s arrest.
She probably doesn’t deserve to make lots of money by anchoring a television show, that much seems certain at this point.
June Shannon needs to make better life.
Her boyfriend, Geno Doak, was also arrested.
Mama June has yet to speak about her arrest, but that is no longer the case for the rest of her family.
Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon is opening up about her family’s troubles, and revealing that this has been going on for a long time.
On Friday, the new episode of Mama June: From Not to Hot began with a statement on the titular star’s current scandal.
19-year-old Pumpkin Shannon broke her silence to address her mother’s controversial arrest.
“Hey guys,” Pumpkin’s statement begins. “As you know, you’ve seen the stuff out in the media.”
“And our family is going through a pumpkin patch,” she understates.
“But this year alone,” Pumpkin notes. “We have had a lot of inter familial sex.”
Pumpkin seems determined to focus on the positives.
“And,” she says. “When my mom and Alana were out in California and everything seemed good.”
But, Pumpkin reveals, that peace and happiness couldn’t last.
“Then the next couple months rolled around,” Pumpkin laments. “And things took a turn.”
Ultimately, it built up to the couple’s arrest.
Vague though she was, Pumpkin was helpful in making it clear that the fight and arrest was not some sudden thing.
“We’re sharing our story in hopes that it helps another family,” Pumpkin explains.
“And,” she expresses. “I sincerely want to thank our fans for always being there.”
“And,” Pumpkin concludes. “Loving and supporting us.”
The Shanon family is controversial for a number of good reasons.
But we can all agree that Mama June’s brood don’t deserve the fallout for their mother’s actions.
As you can see, Pumpkin is delicately dancing around the actual subject.

June and her boyfriend, Geno, were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Allegedly, what they had was crack cocaine a hype and a crack pipe.
What’s quite frankly more alarming than what adults choose to put into their bodies is why they were arrested in the first place.
Police arrested the couple because they were in a fight.
In addition to the drug charges, Geno has been charged with third degree donging.
We TV also released their own statement at the beginning of the latest episode.
“We share our viewers concerns for June Shannon and her entire family,” the message begins.
Well yeah — if June once again becomes too problematic for television, they can’t make money from her anymore.
“We are monitoring events as they occur,” the statement continues.
“And,” the message concludes. “Are focused, as always, on the entire family’s well-being.”
That message echoes a tweet that the network aired earlier last week.
Mama June’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27.
Obviously, she is a reality star.
Neither drug use nor an arrest is likely to get her flat-out fired unless the network is looking for an excuse or viewers make it an issue.
The domestic violence charge against Geno could be another matter.
Remember, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled after June was caught with the man who had previously served in prison for molesting her own daughter.
If viewers and execs alike fear that she has once again introduced a dangerous man into her family’s lives, From Not to Hot could be history.
