The Baby Ruth candy bar. An American classic. It was first made in 1920 by the Curtiss Candy Company in Chicago.
The company is located on the same street as famed baseball stadium Wrigley Field. This led to rumors that the bar was named after baseball star Babe Ruth.
But the candy company claims the bar was named after the daughter of President Grover Cleveland, Baby Ruth, as she was known.
This begs the question.
Does eating a Baby Ruth make you a pedophile?
