Doris Day, famous actress and singer from the 1950s and 60s has passed away at 97 after a battle with pneumonia.
Day was one of the hotties of her era. Her most recognizeable song is Whatever Will Be, Will (Que Sera, Sera). A song that has been covered dozens of times. Day was sort of considered to be a more G-rated Marilyn Monroe.
The only movie I’ve ever seen Doris Day in was The Man Who Knew Too Much. An Alfred Hitchcock movie. She was another one of the blondes that Hitchcock chose to lead his movies.
Day has been retired since the 1980s and had been in good health until she contracted pneumonia.
