Well ho-diddly it’s been a long and interesting week!
So since last Thursay, I’ve been exploring different weight-loss tactics and seeing what worked and what didn’t work. I was also trying to figure out a target weight to achieve, and to see if I could drop a certain amount of pounds per week. As far as first-starts go, I’ve had worse.
As of this morning I’m down 6 pounds (188.2lb, down from 196lb). I’d actually gotten down as low as 187, but then started yo-yo’ing after the weekend. Oh well, here’s a fat-fuck comparison:
In terms of exercise, my main cardio’s been an exercise bike, walking more, and a shit-ton of burpees. I’m also hitting weights, doing sit-ups as well as all the usual bric-a-brac. I’m not going off a hard & fast routine, as I want to avoid my body conditioning to any of it, and it loses effect.
Early starts before breakfast. Same again after dinner.
My diet has pretty much been reduced to unprocessed chicken, fresh veg, black coffee (no sugar), water, nuts, tuna, oranges and bananas. I found myself lacking long-term energy when I completely avoided carbs, so I’ll more than likely need to factor in some decent breads, potatoes or the occasional pasta meal.
My end-game is to hopefully get down 140lb (10stone) by Christmas.
If I can get down to 180lb flat by next Thursday, it would put a nice dent in the numbers. Wish me luck!
